Amidst the 9th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit held in Incheon, South Korea, the annual conference attended by the young leaders around the world, known as the “2023 International Youth Peace Conference,” was hosted by the International Youth Peace Group (IPYG) on the afternoon of September 18th.
The IPYG, which began with a commitment to protect young people from conflicts and leave peace as a legacy for the global community, currently collaborates with over 1,000 organizations from 119 countries worldwide.
This year’s Youth Peace Conference, commemorating the 9th anniversary of the World Peace Summit, was conducted under the theme of “Discussion on Running Youth Engagement & Peacebuilding Working Group (YEPW) Globally.”

During the conference, Working Group initiatives were shared, and annual action plans were formulated. Historically, just as youth have been pioneers in achieving progress, this conference is also seen as a starting point towards a peaceful future and a time when young people from all around the world come together as one.
On this day, Mr. Noah Amrono, the Secretary General of the United Nations Youth Association of Kenya, delivered a presentation on the theme of
“Educational Approach to Fostering Collaborative Peacebuilding.”
He has been serving as the Secretary General and representative of the United Nations Youth Association of Kenya since 2016, tirelessly working with passion to promote the growth and development of Kenya’s future generations.
